In October and November 2026, the statewide ViSo project months for diversity, empowerment, and solidarity will take place at universities in Saxony-Anhalt. The goal is to connect universities, advocacy groups representing marginalized communities, and civil society actors, and to create spaces for exchange, empowerment, and cooperation. Prospective participants can apply for the 11th COMETiN@GraduateAcademy cohort (2026/2027) through the end of August 2026. The one-year program at the Graduate Academy supports female doctoral candidates, postdocs, and academic professionals on their individual career paths. The program focuses on topics such as career profile development, strategic networking, mentoring, resilience, and diversity. In addition, group coaching sessions and opportunities for exchange—both among participants and with alumnae—provide valuable insights.

Flowers on the ground, music, dancing, games, and a feast—students from India celebrated the Onam festival in Magdeburg with friends from Germany and around the world. Onam marks both the Malayalam New Year and the harvest season.
